Carol Shipway Migration Services was established in 2005. We have a small and dedicated team of Registered Migration Agents and Lawyers.
For more than 21 years, Principal Carol Shipway has been assisting people from all over the world to successfully apply for Australian visas. Carol holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences, has been a Registered Migration Agent since 1996, and is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia. Carol is an experienced and skillful advocate who radiates confidence in taking clients through the complex and exacting Australian visa application process. Carol’s clients describe her as patient, sensitive, and determined in representing their best interests.

Julie Bertsos has been a Registered Migration Agent since 2013 and is the Senior Migration Agent and Lawyer at Carol Shipway Migration Services. Julie graduated in 2007 from a Bachelor of Laws and in 2012 with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Julie was admitted as a Solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court in 2013. Julie excels in her role as a Senior Migration Agent and Lawyer, keeping up to date with complex legislative changes and using her detailed knowledge of Australian immigration law to advise clients and lodge strong applications on their behalf.

Toniey Munro joined the team in 2016 while completing further studies to become a Migration Agent. Toniey holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and International Relations with Honours in Sociology and Political Science, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, a Graduate Certificate of Education (TESOL), a Graduate Certificate of Australian Migration Law and Practice, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Toniey was admitted as a Solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court in 2014 and became a Registered Migration Agent in 2017. Toniey is currently completing a Masters of Laws at the Australian National University. Toniey is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights. Toniey enjoys the complexity of immigration law and uses her knowledge and research skills to assist in the preparation and lodgment of visa and review applications.
